Sometimes opportunities come in the strangest forms. I have been looking for a new project to dig my teeth into and then two come along together.
I don’t want to disclose too much but I have two potential clients who I will write for. One is an older man who has had a colourful life and who wants me to record his life story for posterity. So I will meet with him and listen as he dictates from the copious notes he has made in six hard-back books.
The other is a guy I met while interviewing him for the paper. He is one of those guys who has turned his life around completely in the last year. He is inspirational, upbeat and a real sound bloke.
So things are starting to look up for me, and I am still doing my journalism part time too!
