Theatre Company formed

A milestone has been reached, myself and Jackie have formed a theatre company for our upcoming play #RubyandScarlett. On the short list were Ra-Ra Theatre Company (TC) but I thought it looked like I was supporting the ‘Ra’ which is never a good thing with a northern accent.

Then there were the 80’s ones – Baggy Trousers TC; Ghost Town TC; Likely Lasses TC; Likely Lads TC; Rubik’s TC ; Relax (Frankie says) TC; Red Red Wine TC – which was a personal favourite of mine, but painted a someone desperate picture of me and Jacks.  Citizen Smith TC; Happy Talk TC; Walk of Life TC.

Swinging Mickey TC, Mickey Money TC, The Only Way is Up TC; Sexy Rexy TC; Toe-licking TC; Hairy Armpit TC (Thanks Charlie) and also Pukey Productions (again, Charlie).

There was Fat Cats TC;  Galway Tent TC; Ghost Estate TC; Boom Town TC – but we thought we didn’t want the recession to define us.

There was Big Pants TC, Hairy Legs TC and Forty Something TC – again too big on the mental images 🙂

Positive TC; Best Foot Forward TC; Happy Times TC; Rise and Shine TC; Wonderland TC;  Pack up Your Troubles TC; Give My Head a Holiday TC;  YES WE CAN TC;

Hairy Caterpillar TC; Stay Calm and Carry On TC; Red Velvet TC; Who Dares Writes TC – but as that is very closer to the motto for the SAS and I come from the North, we thought it best to pass on that one.

So after much deliberation we settled on #RedVelvet Theatre Company, as we liked the vibrancy of red, and the theatre curtains are always red velvet.  So here we are – setting up our Facebook page, getting an account on Twitter and getting cracking.
