#72 New Year, almost New Me

A lot has changed this last 12 months. I felt nearly sad and empty as I thought of all the bad news we have encountered as a family and me personally.

But then my friend pointed out, that I am now half way through my MA in writing, have 3000+ hits on my blog and am writing 3 chapters of my first book. Things that were a dream last year have become reality this year.

Robert isn’t 100% better, but God Bless him – he is back at work full time. Charlie and Aoife are happy at school and in good health.

I have lost 20lbs this year – HUGE achievement for me! I have the lowest blood sugar ever!

So after the shock of redundancy and the bombshell of heart attacks and financial challenges – we can say with confidence – we ended 2011 with a lot of positive changes. And I know there are more to come in 2012.
