I have to be ruthless about my time. I have from 9-1pm every day to write before I pick up the kids from school. Two mornings a week I was going to Radio lectures and I absolutely loved it – but with my MA in Writing I was getting behind, plus the blog has become more popular and needs more time in admin.
So I had to make choices and the only sensible one was to stop the Radio units – I hated doing this as I was so lucky to be offered them in the first place. I also hate feeling that I have packed in, half way through. But I really had no choice.
So on the positive, I have more time to write my three chapters. I got a lovely email back from the woman in charge of the course – saying she would love to meet me in January and bring the three chapters with me for a good laugh! Yes its a humour, non-fiction book based on this blog.
